Our cooperative is located in Colmenar, a town of 3,200 inhabitants located in the heart of the Parque Natural Montes de Malaga which gives its name to our brand.In this environment, at a height of 694 meters above sea there's fresh air and our people enjoy a peaceful life.

Los Montes de Málaga covering nearly 5,000 acres where cattle can graze in a peaceful manner among a diverse flora of pines mixed with oaks, cork, Mediterranean species that grow in the midst of a mild climate due to the proximity of the Sea. In this environment our total of 50,000 goats enjoy a life without stress and pollution, eating grass and acorns, which in turn result in a high quality of fresh milk full of nutrients. The milk-producing goats are mostly Malagueña race.

Every day of the year the milk is collected in five different collection points and subjected to rigorous health checks before being transported immediately to our credit facilities.

Within the cooperative milk is processed by applying modern control methods to ensure adequate hygiene and traceability. In the production of cheeses both machines use the latest generation and traditional arts always looking for the best possible result: full-flavored cheeses that reveal the place where we are: Los Montes de Málaga.
